Cast Member Audition Information

Open Call - Saturday, February 27th, 2016
The Tennessee Renaissance Festival is holding an open casting call for local actors, for our 2016 Festival. Actors will portray the happy, vibrant townsfolk, peasants, fairies, and nobility of Covington Glen, a 16th Century English Village. The Festival invites actors of all types and experience levels to our Open Call on February 8th, 2014. The auditions will be held at the Smyrna Bowling Center. We are looking for people who are eager, energetic, and enthusiastic about live interactive entertainment.

In addition to providing the atmosphere of the village, the cast performs two shows daily: The Human Chess Match and The Queens Comedy Show. The Human Chess Match is a scripted, stage-combat show, and the Queen's Comedy Show is a scripted stage show. If you are interested in being part of the Queen's Comedy Show, please have a monologue prepared (no longer than one minute and thirty seconds).

Auditions will be held one day only, Saturday, February 27th, 2016. The audition process starts at 10am and will last until 4pm.
