Cast Member Audition Information

Open Call - February 8th, 2014
The Tennessee Renaissance Festival is holding an open casting call for local actors, for our 2014 Festival. Actors will portray the happy, vibrant townsfolk and nobility of Covington Glen, a 16th Century English Village. The Festival invites actors (18 years or older) of all types and experience levels to our Open Call on February 8th, 2014. The auditions will be held at the Smyrna Bowling Center starting at 10am, but you are encouraged to come and sign in early, and then socialize with the other auditionees.

Be sure and wear weather-appropriate clothing, and check the website in case of severely inclement weather. Having said that, the audition process will require you to be somewhat active, so please also dress comfortably and come prepared to move. Actors will be asked to participate in improvisational exercises and anyone wishing to demonstrate specific skills (character or theatrical monologue, singing or period musical instrument, stage combat, or other skills) may do so, though this is not required. You will be auditioning in small groups, so be prepared to interact from the start of the audition process.

Please use this link to pre-register your audition online.

We look forward to seeing all the happy faces this year, both returning and new!
