Cast Member Audition Information

Open Call - Saturday, February 18th, 2017
The Tennessee Renaissance Festival is holding an open casting call for local actors, for our 2017 Festival. Actors will portray the happy, vibrant townsfolk, peasants, fairies, and nobility of Covington Glen, a 16th Century English Village. The Festival invites actors of all types and experience levels to our Open Call on February 18th, 2017. The auditions will be held at the Smyrna Bowling Center. We are looking for people who are eager, energetic, and enthusiastic about live interactive entertainment.

In addition to providing the atmosphere of the village, the cast performs two shows daily: The Human Chess Match and The Midsummer Night Show. The Midsummer Night show is a scripted stage show, performed on the Highland Manor stage. The Human Chess match is a scripted live stage-combat show. If you are interested in performing in either, please come prepared with a monologue no longer than one minute and thirty seconds.

We look forward to both meeting new faces and welcoming back our previous performers.
