The 2024 Tennessee Renaissance Festival will be open on May 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th, 27th.

The festival's hours of operation are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.  

Each year, the festival presents special events, showcases and competitions that provide an unique experience for all participants.


Queen's Tea
You are cordially invited to our Queen's Tea in the Queen's Pavilion. Sit with the Queen and her court and share tea, pastries, tea sandwiches, and small desserts. Only a select few are invited to Her Majesty’s private pavilion, so make sure to RSVP in advance. This experience is perfect for all ages. Tickets go on sale on April 1, 2024 and must be purchased in advance. Ticket price is $35.00 (Festival Admission Required Separately). The Queen’s Tea begins at 3:30 p.m. each festival day. Fairy Training 
Have you ever dreamed of being a fairy? Our Fairy Training Camp is the perfect place to learn fairy skills and games! The magical fairy instructors will guide participants through multiple stations including fairy checkers, fairy bubbles, and wing dancing and will award badges for each completed station. This experience is perfect for ages 5- 10. Tickets go on sale on April 1, 2024 and must be purchased in advance. Ticket price is $15.00 (Festival Admission Required Separately). Queen's Promenade
Step in to the resplendent ballrooms of yore, where grace and poise were the currency of the realm, and join us for The Queen’s Promenade - an exquisite dance course designed for the distinguished few who wish to master the art of Regency Dance. In an era where a single dance could ignite a courtship, this course promises to imbue participants with the elegance and skill once reserved for the noblest of society. Under the tutelage of our esteemed master of dance, attendees will embark on a journey through time to ballrooms where the fate of many a lady and gentleman was decided. This experience is available for youth ages 7-15 and for teens and adults ages 16 and up. Tickets go on sale on April 1, 2024 and must be purchased in advance. The Queen’s Promenade Youth session begins at 11 a.m. and the teen and adult session begins at 1 p.m. in the Queen’s Pavilion on May 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th and 27th.  Please arrive 5 minutes early to check-in. Fairy Habitat & Hobbit House Competition
On Saturday, May 11th and Sunday, May 12th, put your creativity on full display at the Fairy Habitat/Hobbit House Competition. Voting will begin each festival day at 2 p.m. in the Fairy Glen, and winners will be determined by popular vote.


All Fairy Habitats and Hobbit Houses must be constructed of natural materials and on a portable, sturdy base for table display. The habitat or house can be anything you wish (it must be family-appropriate). Please ensure your name and phone number are clearly labeled on your entry. The contest is open to two age groups: Youth ages 4-14  and teens and adults ages 15 and up. Participants will receive instructions on how to turn in their entry when entering the festival in the ticket tent.
